I'm doing some simplification problems and I'm not sure if I did the following correctly or not:
(Original equation)
((x^3)(y^-5)(z^-7)) / ((x^-4) + (y^9) - (z^-2))
After doing several methods, I got this:
(x^3) / ((z^7)(y^5) + (z^7)(y^14) - (y^5))
Now, here is the thing. Are there multiple answers to simplification problems? I don't see what I might have done wrong, but here is the answer my calculator gives:
(x^3) / ((z^7)(y^14) - (y^5)(z^5) + ((y^5)(z^7) / (x^4)))
It looks like my calculator gives a similar but longer simplification. Perhaps I did an even better simplification?
Any help please?![]()
