write three equivalent fractions for each fraction:7/8,3/4,6/12,2/3
Then just multiply both numerator and denominator by the same integer. Three fraction equivalent to 3/5, for example, are 3(2)/5(2)= 6/10, 3(3)/5(3)= 9/15, and 3(4)/5(4)= 12/20. They are "equivalent" because they all reduce, in lowest terms to 3/5. If, as in the case of 6/12, numerator and denominator have a common factor, you can also cancel that common factor to get an equivalent fractin.
