    Solve for x & simplify

Ugh, my math is rusty and I can't seem to simplify this as far as I want to... or when I check my math it's wrong.

    A + ( 4.9AB / 60 ) = X + ( 4.9XY / 60 )
    =
    A + ( 4.9AB / 60 ) = X ( 1 + ( 4.9Y / 60 ) )
    =
    A + ( 4.9AB / 60 )
    ------------------ = X
    ( 1 + ( 4.9Y / 60 ) )

And here's where things start to go wrong. Thanks for the help.

What you've done looks right to me.

    A + ( 4.9AB / 60 )
    ------------------ = X
    ( 1 + ( 4.9Y / 60 ) )

You could multiply both the top and bottom by 60 to get this.

    60A + 4.9AB
    ------------ = X
    60 + 4.9Y

And maybe take A as a factor at the top.

    A(60 + 4.9B)
    ------------ = X
    60 + 4.9Y

I can't see much else that can be done.
