    World Population Growth

Does anyone know the formula to find world population growth. I know growth rate is at 77 Million (roughly), and the current world pop. is 6,692,030,277. I'd like to calculate the population in 40 years from now, or 2050. If anyone knows the formula I can do the plugging and chugging.

Unfortunately, "77 million" is not actually a rate. You'd need "per" information, like "per year" or "per decade" or something, and even that would be a linear model, which is not accurate. So I'm afraid it is not possible to obtain the model you seek from the information thus-far provided.

Please consult with your instructor regarding clarification of this exercise. Thank you!
