so i set this up doing 20x+20y=170 and 15x+15y=170 and tried to use a system of equation method to solve for this but it didnt seem to work.

I assume that x is the speed of the aircraft in still air and y is the speed of the wind. If so 2. The resultant speed over ground is (x-y) when traveling against the wind and (x+y) when traveling with the wind. 3. Therefore solve for x and y:
