    Principal Ideal Domain

    Hi guys,

Been stuck on this problem for a few days now and still getting nowhere.

    Let R be a ring such that Z ⊂ R ⊂ Q.(Z=integers, Q=rationals.) Show that R is a principal ideal domain.

So yeah, was trying to set up a euclidean function but just can't seem to find one that satisfies the conditions. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks.
