    Wink age

    jeremy's dad is 6 times as old as jeremy is now. In 6 years, jeremy's dad will 4.125 times as old as jeremy will be then. What is jeremy's age now, in years.

    let jeremys age be y
    let his dad age be x

    x = 6y jeremy's dad is 6 times as old as jeremy

    x+ 6 = 4.125 (y+6) in 6 years, jeremy's dad will 4.125 times as old as jeremy will be then

    d=dad, j=jeremy

    d = 6j
    d + 6 = 4.125(j + 6)
