1. ## Grade 12 Math Problems - Need help completing unit

Hello, I've been ready to submit my first unit for advanced functions for grade 12 but I have some questions I am unsure of as no examples were provided. If anybody could kindly help me figure this all out it would be greatly appreciated. Some i've attempted and need to know if its right, and some I have no clue how to approach.

Simplify, express each answer with positive exponent if possible.

-45 x^5 y^7 z^9 / 9 x^7 y^7 z^5

i got = -5 x^-2 z^4

next question.

(x ^a+b) ^a-b / (x ^a-2b) ^a+2b

next question.

find the equation for y
x-axis as asymptote
passes through points 0,-1 -1,-3 -2,-9

Next question.

Log5 20 +log5 10 - 3 log5 2
=log5 200 - 3 log5 2
=?

Next question. evaluate each of the following

7 ^(log7 12)

log1/3 1

log3 81"square root symbol" 27 under it.

last question.

an earthquake registers 6.1 on the richter scale. what is the rating on an earthquake that is twice as powerful?

thank you.

remember:
$(a) log(b) c = log(b) (c^a)$
$log(5) 200- log(5) (2^3)$

remember:
$log(b) c - log(b) d= log(b) (\frac{c}{d})$
so,
$=log(5) (\frac{200} {2^3})$
$=log(5) (\frac{200} {2^3})$
$=log(5) (25)= log(5) (5^2)$
$=(2) log(5) (5) =2$

...hope it help...
