    Someone help me with this problem Thanks!!

    A room mate is 12ft by21 ft .It needs to be painted.The celling is 8ft above the floor. There are twowindows in the room there are two windows in the room each one is 3 ft by 4 ft. The door is 2.5 ft by 6.5 ft

    Find the area of the walls and cellings. One gallon of paint covers 78.54 sq ft How many gallons are needed to paint the room? At $20.49 a gallon What id the cost to paint the room


    The area of the walls and celling
    ( round to the nearest hundred)

    The # of gallons needed
    (round to the nearest hundred)

    The cost will be
    (round to the nearest cent)

    Where are you stuck? You know how to find the area of a rectangular region. You've multiplied to find the area of each wall, and added these areas together. You've multiplied to find the areas of the windows and doors, and subtracted these from the total wall area. You've divided the area to be painted by the area covered by one can to find the number of cans. You've multiplied by the per-can cost to get the total cost. And... then what? What is your question?
