You could do, but it's probably easier just to re-write each of the equations
$x=\frac23$ and $x = -\frac34$
in the form $px+q = 0$. Then multiply these $'px+q'$ expressions together to obtain a quadratic equation in the familiar form $ax^2 + bx + c =0$.

Can you do that?

there are 2 method to make a new equation with roots p and q,
1. $(x-p)(x-q)=0$ or
2. $x^2 - (p+q) x + (pq) =0$
those 2 method has the same output.
