    patterns

    Deric studied 30 min for his first math test.He studied 45 min for the second test,and 60 min for the third test.if he continues this pattern,how long will he study for the fifth test?

    The socialy acceptable answer is:

    15+n*15 min

    so if n=5, the number of minutes is 90.

    The real answer is: "what would you like it to be", we can find a pattern
    that will give the first three terms 30, 45, 60 and the next two anything
    we want.
