So we have y = -12x^2-4x+1
The x-intercept happens when y = 0, so let
    -12x^2-4x+1 = 0
and then solve for x.

The y-intercept happens when x = 0, so we let
-12(0)^2-4(0)+1 = y, and then we have y. Do the same to second.
