1. ## Coin Collection

A collection of coins is made up of an equal number of pennies 1 nickelsdimes, and quarters. What is the largest possible value of the collection which is less then $2.00 p=1 cent nickle= 5 cents d=10 cents q=25 cents p+n+d+q= .41 .41+.41+.41.41=$1.64 so we can only have 4 of each piece

What is the total amount of money less the \$2.00 Using these coins if they all have to be the same.

4. ## Value

You may use this equation since you already found how many coins of each value...

0.01P+0.05N+0.10D+0.25Q

Just substitute the quantity for each coin..in this case 4 for each
