    Red face Quotients

Having a problem with estimating Products and Quotients.

The problem is 52,624 divided by 621.

First thought was to divide 50,000 by 600. But that comes out to be 83.33 which is not a whole number.

    Any other suggestions? Thank you.

    83.33 \approx 80 or 83.33 \approx 83

now you have a whole number.

Take +- 3.5% off the two =~ 51000/600= 85 which is much closer...
