Basic Order of Operations question

Would someone please explain how the formula

$\frac{A}{(B/C)}$

Is the same as

$\frac{A}{B}*C$

Hi allyourbass2212,

Here's what you have:

$\frac{A}{B/C}={\color{red}A \cdot \frac{C}{B}}=\frac{AC}{B}=\frac{A}{B}\cdot C$

Remember, the step in red is where you multiply by the inverse of the denominator of your original fraction.
