1. inversion of a matrix

I need to find the inverse of the following matrix. Could somone tell me if I did this correctly? Thanks, Frostking

First I inverted the two equations and then I multiplied equation one by - 1/2 and added it to equation 2 and got

- 1 -3/2 ! 0 - 1/2
0 -3/2 ! 1 -1/2

next I multiplied equation 1 by - 1 and added equation 2 to equation 1 and last I multiplied equation 2 by -2/3
1 0 ! 1 0
0 1 ! -2/3 1/3

2. Did you find the minors? and then the co factors? and the determinant? and the adj ?

You need to calculate those 4 before you can find the inverse.

B/c the inverse of a matrix A = (1 / Det|A|) * Adj(A)
