
inversion of a matrix
I need to find the inverse of the following matrix. Could somone tell me if I did this correctly? Thanks, Frostking

2 3 ! 0 1
First I inverted the two equations and then I multiplied equation one by  1/2 and added it to equation 2 and got
 1 3/2 ! 0  1/2
0 3/2 ! 1 1/2
next I multiplied equation 1 by  1 and added equation 2 to equation 1 and last I multiplied equation 2 by 2/3
1 0 ! 1 0
0 1 ! 2/3 1/3

Did you find the minors? and then the co factors? and the determinant? and the adj ?
You need to calculate those 4 before you can find the inverse.
B/c the inverse of a matrix A = (1 / DetA) * Adj(A)
