Thread: Determinants of 4 x 3 matrix

I need to solve the determinant of the following 4 x 3 matrix. I know how to do so for 3 x3 and of course 2 x 2 but I have looked on the internet for 4 x3 and am not able to find a tutorial. Could someone please help me out or tell me of a site that would do so. THanks very much, Frostking

I don't believe that the concept of a determinant of a non-square matrix is defined. Which is why you're having trouble with how to calculate it.
