    I assume they are the two solutions?

    $\displaystyle \left(x-3\right)\left(x+\frac{3}{2}\right)$

    Expand using FOIL

    (x - 3)(x + 3/2) = x^2 - (3/2)x - 9/2

    The solutions are (3, -3/2).

    x = 3
    x = -3/2

    (x - 3)(2x + 3)

    Hope it helps you.
