Can somebody please help me solve this quadratic equation :

275 000 000 = -7.2t^2 + 96t + 18 ??

What is the value of t ?

Hi mathcalculushelp,

It's pretty straight forward, isn't it?

$275000000=-7.2t^2+96t+18$

$7.2t^2-96t+274999982=0$

Use the quadratic formula to find t.

There is no solution though, since (96^2) - 4(7.2)(27499982) < 0

Mathcalculushelp, your equation has no real solution, see graph. you might have erred somewhere in your given equation for t, please check . . . .
