How can I find the value of x?

Substitute  in  and solve for x.
I got it down to 4x+(62-x)=172 but I'm unsure of how to continue from here...
y = 62 - x
4x + y = 176
=> 4x + 62 - x = 176
=> 3x = 114
=> x = 38
sub the x into the first equation to find y.
