# Math Help - Exponents

1. ## Exponents

1. To find the volume of a rectangular box you multiply the length times the width times the height. In a cube all sides are the same length. If the cube has length, width, and height of 6 inches, write the volume as a product. Then write it in exponential form. (I don't have a clue)

2. Yes volume is $L\times W \times H$

If these are all the same and equal to 6 then volume equals $6\times 6 \times 6$

Now if $a \times a = a^2$

and $a \times a \times a= a^3$

then $6\times 6 \times 6 = \dots$
