    Find the Domain

    [.] is Greatest Integer Function... Modulus is there...




    Answer is [3/2, 2) U (2, infinity)
    I got the answer only (2, infinity)...

    I got the answer only (2, infinity)...
    the base of \log is always > 1. so x + 1/2 \geq 2, which gives you x \geq 3/2. we also need to have x^2-x-2 \neq 0, and that gives you x \neq 2.
