the question i've got is:

find the exact value of the x-coordinate at each of the points of intersection of the following:

the line $3x + 4y = 9$ and the curve $y = 3x^2 - 7x + 2$

i've got it down to $\frac{25}{4} \pm \sqrt {\frac{673}{16}}$ but i'm not sure how to complete it. any help would be appreciated. thanks

I'm not getting the same thing you got when you solved for x. Substitute the second equation into the first.

$3x+4(3x^2-7x+2)-9=0$

Solve this for x.
