    Negative functions

    Hi,

What do I get with a negative function?

For example with $\displaystyle f(h)=3h^2-2$, so what would happen to -f(h)?

    Would it be:

    1. $\displaystyle -f(h)=-3h^2-2$
    OR
    2. $\displaystyle -f(h)=-(3h^2-2) = -3h^2+2 $
