what is the slope of the line that passes through points (2, 4) and (-3, 4)

are the lines 2x + 5y = 1 and y = 5/2x + 4 parallel, perp, neither, or the same

To figure out the slope you use the formula m=y2-y1 / x2-x1 (m being the slop)

So the first points given are (-2,-1) and (5,6)
x1= -2, y1 = -1, x2 = 5 and y2 = 6 now you fill in the blanks of the equation:

6-(-1) divided by 5-(-2) when subtracting a negative you change it to plus a positive so you are left with 7 / 7. The slope is 1.

Now that I have given you the equation maybe you can figure out the second one. Let me know if you need any more help
