    Math Problem

I'm having some problems with this homework question.

Two cars are travelling towards each other at 60km/h and 80km/h. How far apart are they 15 minutes before they pass each other?

    Thanks.

    15 min = 1/4 hr

at 60 km/hr ... one car will travel a distance of ___ in 15 min.

80 km/hr ... the other car will travel a distance of ___ in 15 min.

now, put a little thought into the question.
