    Question Homo Trouble [UNSOLVED]

    There are 2 questions I can't simply get the answer to. The fact that in the first problem the equations are equivalent really trouble me. How do we solve these? I appreciate every help in advance!

    Attempt

    NEW UPDATE FOR PROBLEM 1: I eliminate an equation because it's linearly dependent but then I'm left with one equation 4 variables.

    How do I go on from here?

    Same problem

    I have a very similair problem!

    Only, in my problem there is only one equation anyways!

    Can anyone please help out? I have no idea how to do it!
