    Need math problem solved to score a date!

    Hello.... Can anyone help me? I am not in school anymore and would like a date from a girl that has an online profile question. Please allow me to quote... "if you can't figure out this equation, please do not read on... 1/3x=5...".

    Can anyone help me with my love life? lol

    The question is...

    1/3x=5

    I guess, solve for x.... right? (Been a while since my school days).

    Strange

    What a strange request. But I digress

    Your quest is to solve

    \frac{1}{3x}=5

    Simply multiply both sides by 3x and you'll get

    1=15x

    So then x=\frac{1}{15}

    lol.... maybe THAT'S why I am still looking at the age of 33.... I'm too strange!

    Anyway, Thank-You I-Think. Who knows.... maybe I'll tell the grand kids someday about how "if it wasn't for a user by the name of I-Think, you kids never would have been born"....

    Anyway, thanks again!

    Uh-oh.... I already sent the email so hopefully I was correct in my answer!

    When I quoted her, I used a copy and paste so that is exactly how it was typed out.
    Well, if she doesn't reply, I can always use that as the reason... and not my looks!
