So, I have a workbook for my Calculus class, and its review of high school math with no calculator, its been fairly smooth sailing thanks to a question answered on here yesterday. Rather, it was pointed out that I was being a moron.
Now I have come back asking for help again.
I have the following question, and I don't need an answer, I'm just asking for somebody to show me what the heck I am supposed to do, please.
The question. (i'm going to try the math text)
$((x/y)+(y/x))/((x^2/y^2)-(y^s/x^2))$

2. $(x/y)+(y/x)$

$(x^2)/(y^2)-(y^2/x^2)$

start by multiplying every term by $x^2y^2$ to clear the fractions in the numerator and denominator ... then think about some factoring.
