$12x^2 - 4\sqrt{x} = 0$

Divide by 4 for the heck of it

$3x^2 = \sqrt{x}$

Square the answer:

$9x^4 = x$

$x(9x^3-1) = 0$

I'm sure you can solve from there :]

Remember though, because of the square root in the original equation $x \geq 0$
