    Are you allowed to use (+, -, x, ) more than once?

    for example, 4+(4/4)+4=9

    come on, you have to try. this will get you started ...

    4 - 4 + 4 - 4 = 0

    (4 + 4) \div (4 + 4) = 1

    keep going ...

    4 4 4 4 = 6?

    (4 + 4) / 4 + 4 = 6?

    8/4 + 4 = 6?

    2 + 4 = 6?

    6 = 6,

    yehey!

    4 4 4 4 = 7?

    (4 + 4) - (4/4) = 7?

    8 - 1 = 7?

    7 = 7,

    yehey!

    4 4 4 4 = 8?

    (4)^(1/2) + (4)^(1/2) + (4)^(1/2) + (4)^(1/2) = 8?

    2 + 2 + 2 + 2 = 8?

    8 = 8,

    yehey!

    or

    4 4 4 4 = 8?

    4 X 4 - 4 - 4 = 8?

    16 - 4 - 4 = 8?

    8 =8,

    yehey!
