# Thread: A Truck related % Problem

1. ## A Truck related % Problem

Hello to all,

my problem is this.......

I have 50 deliveries to be made today, 1 of those deliveries ends up late

i know that 1% is late and 99% were on time

to get that figure i know the sum is 1 divide 50 x 100 gives me 1%

How on earth do i get the sum to show 99% instead of 1%

The reason i ask is that i am making an excel spreadsheet that shows me the percentage of ON TIME deliveries

so it will be something like.....

127 loads 43 late %on time here

Ty for any help here, sorry if this is confusing

to get that figure i know the sum is 1 divide 50 x 100 gives me 1% Actually, 1/50 x 100 gives you 2%.

How on earth do i get the sum to show 99% instead of 1% If 1 delivery out of 50 is late (2%) then 49 out of 50 are on time (98%).

The reason i ask is that i am making an excel spreadsheet that shows me the percentage of ON TIME deliveries

127 loads 43 late %on time here Looks like 43/127 are late (about 34%) and 84/127 are on time (about 66%}.
