    False Positives and Negatives

    I have 2 sets of data variables from 2 different sources, 1 source is 99.9% correct the other is unknown.

    I want to measure the accuracy of the other set for example set 1 has 60 males and 40 females, set 2 has 70 males and 30 females and the crossover is as follows;

    Male Female
    Male 52 18
    Female 8 22

    What is the best way to say how accurate the data is? Does Bayes' theorem Apply?
