If a Tour de France winner (between the years 1947 and 2007) were selected at random, what is the probability that he is from France?

3. Given a winner is from Europe, what is the probability that he is from Spain?

2. The first problem is direct.
Probability of winner to be from France is $\frac{winners from france}{total winners}$
$=0.3443$

Probability= $\frac{winners from spain}{winners from Europe}$
$=\frac{10}{51}$
$=0.196$

4. well duh.. that would make sense,,, i left it just in fraction form without dividing,..
thank you!!!
