# Thread: obtain the scatterplot of age against fat

1. ## obtain the scatterplot of age against fat

obtain the scatterplot of age against fat?

Which is right ?

The first graph or the second and why?

2. I'm sure you can argue for either.
But I would guess we want to predict fat(y) from age(x).

I agree. Normally it said that one plots y against x but that seems silly in this example
