Statistic Significance Level
Assuming the population of left-handed people is 10%. Is there a difference between percent of left students in our class and the population at the 5% significance level?
What information is given: In our class there is 60 students 3 of them are left handed.

This is a two-sided hypothesis test for a proportion.

$H_0:p=.1$ vs. $H_a:p\ne .1$.

n=60, $\hat p=.05$ and you can use the normal approximation to get a z-score.
The rejection region is $(-\infty, -1.96) \cup (1.96,\infty)$.
