    poisson/normal

I have a poisson distribution which is Z~Poisson(7). For 1000 trials will this tend to the normal distribution and if so why?

tend a bit yes, be normal no. when n goes to be infinite, the distribution will tend to normal, the reason can be the central limit theorem.

I'm not sure if I understand the question.
Do you have Z_1+\cdots +Z_{1000} with each Z as iid Poisson(7)?
Please explain what is going to infinity.
