    Distribution Function Technique??

    If X has a binomial distribution with n=3 and Θ= ⅓, find the probability distribution of Y=X/(1+X)

    X = 0 => Y = 0. Therefore Pr(Y = 0) = Pr(X = 0).

    X = 1 => Y = 1/2. Therefore Pr(Y = 1/2) = Pr(X = 1).

    X = 2 => Y = 2/3. Therefore .....

    X = 3 => ......
