    Normal distribution

    Hi,

    Can someone please help me with part b of this question.

    You have:

     <br />
y=x+\eta_1<br />

    where: \eta_1 \sim N(\mu_1,\sigma_1^2)

    Then y has the same distribution as \eta_1 but with its mean increased by x.
