Hello,
I have the following problem and I have no idea how to answer.
Suppose that you are performing a one-tailed hypothesis test. " Assuming that everything else remains constant, a decrease in the test's level of significance (α) leads to a higher probability of rejecting the null hypothesis" Is this statement true or false? Explain your choice?

Do you understand what a p-value is? Do you know the relationship between $\alpha$ and the p-value?
