22 tomato plants produce a mean of 5.5kg of tomatoes per plant.
15 other plants produce a mean of 4kg. of tomatoes.
what is the mean produced by the 35 plants/

Total weight of toms from the 22 plants=5.5*22=121kg
Total weight of toms from the 15 plants=4*15=60kg

Grand total of toms = 121+60=181kg.

Therefore the grand mean for the 37 plants=181/37=4.9 kg/plant.
