    Formula question

    Hi.
    This homework problem has me completely lost;

    Which of the following is true?

    (a) D5 = P5 = Q5
    (b) D50 = P5 = Q25
    (c) D5 = P50 = Q2
    (d) D50 = P5 = Q2

    I think that Q represents Quartiles, and P represents Probability, but I can't find in the text what D represents. I don't have any idea what formula I could use to find the correct answer. Thank you for any help you can give!

    It would help you, and help other members to help you, to write down the definitions of P,Q and D from your book.
