Hi,
I have a midterm tomorrow and hoping someone could help me out with this confidence intervals from my probability class.

during the review section, the prof gave us this equation:
abs(p-p^)<k/2*sqrt(n)

"^" is directly on "p" in the equation.

so, he said there are 3 quantities - certainty, accuracy and number of trials
he said he would give us two of these quantities and ask us to compute the last one from the other two.

is it possible to compute from the above formula? if not? could anyone please point me in the right direction?

TIA!
