Hi all,

I hope today finds you well and in good spirits.

I have joined the forum in the hopes of trying to resolve a complex statistical issue (at least for me).

Here is the question that I need your help with.

What is the statistical probability of three women (all seniors) in a family, dying in three consecutive years (one each year) within three calendar days of a Christmas (each year one women passes on within three days of Christmas)?

I know this is a unusual, can you give me some idea about how unusual from a mathmatical perspective it is? By the way, sadly, these are also the facts.

Any help you can provide to help resolve this issue is greatly appreciated.

Best regards,

Iggy
