Hey everyone! (Hi)
I'm just wondering if any of you can suggest good books on Mathematical Statistics (which I refer to as calc-based statistics)? I'm taking a 2 semester sequence starting this fall, and I'd like to get a head start in learning the material.
I have the Third Edition of Mathematical Statistics With Applications by Mendenhall, Scheaffer and Wackerly (1986). I got it second hand for a bargain price. I like it and have found it very useful. But it might not be everyone's cup of tea.
