i think the formula has multiplying not sure tho

#1: Directly apply the formula:

$\displaystyle P(A \cup B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A \cap B)$

$\displaystyle \Rightarrow P(A \cap B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A \cup B)$

#2: $\displaystyle P(A \cap B) = P(A) + P(B) - P(A \cup B) = (1 - P(A')) + (1 - P(B')) - P(A \cup B)$
