Binomial Probability & Tables
I hate math assignments and it's due tomorrow and the teacher is stupid and won;t help people. I was away when it was explained so i have no idea what to do!!

Suppose an NBA player makes 90% of his free throws. This player takes 20 free throws in the course of a game.
Find the probabilits of his making:

A) Atleast 19 of the 20 free throws.
B) Less than 15 of the 20 free throws
C) Exactly 90% od the 20 free throws.

Lecturers don't explain things twice. Get used to it. Also, most students have very poor excuses for not coming to class. I'm not saying you're one of them though.

The probability of a success is 0,9

P(B) = 1 - {20 \choose 15} \left( 0,9 \right) ^{15} \left( 0,1 \right)^{5}$
$- {20 \choose 16} \left( 0,9 \right) ^{16} \left( 0,1 \right)^{4}$ $- {20 \choose 17} \left( 0,9 \right) ^{17} \left( 0,1 \right)^{3}$ $- {20 \choose 18} \left( 0,9 \right) ^{18} \left( 0,1 \right)^{2}$ $- {20 \choose 19} \left( 0,9 \right) ^{19} \left( 0,1 \right)^{1}$ $- {20 \choose 20} \left( 0,9 \right) ^{20} \left( 0,1 \right)^{0}$

90% of 20 throws equal 18 throws.

$P(C) = {20 \choose 18} \left( 0,9 \right) ^{18} \left( 0,1 \right)^{2}$
