quick question
im working on an anova problem

i have count of 8
sum of 646
therefore an average of 80.75

i just cant remember how to get the variance

any help appreciated

what exactly soes variance signify in this case???

the apparent answer is 70.2143, i dont understand how that was achieved

the variance here can be zero(all value are equal) to any positive real value.
If we consider different distributions such as poisson,truncated poisson,hypergeometric etc. then there will be different variances.

thanks for that but the answer that must be arrived at is the one i mentioned above, this is one way anova if that helps
