    Word problem

If a restaurant has 22 appetizers and 11 burgers. If you have 4 of the possible 22 appetizers and 2 of the 11 burgers, how many appetizer burger combos could you potentially have?

    The answer is not 8.

If you eat 2 different burgers how many options do you have for your first choice? how many options do you have for your second choice? how many combinations can you make out of those options?

Yes you can switch them up in many ways, that's why I asked how many combinations can you make out of those options?

I asked him the question as a way to guide him to the answer. He seems to not realize that mathhelpforum required some effort on his part so I emphasised that part by posting it individually.
I'm pretty sure that rule is for the op to follow, not for us helpers trying to jog someone's mind

I wasn't referring to you Shakarri.

Jons7888 posted this identical problem on another thread that is also currently active.

So this problem is being attacked by two groups that aren't communicating.
    Thanks from Shakarri
